The show was to celebrate Sally's birthday and the life of her brother-in-law who sadly died the previous week.

Rus opened the show with some of his 'Seranna' material.

When our friend Sally from The Highwayman Inn called up to ask if we would play live in the inn for her birthday bash we jumped at the chance.

Linda has every right to look pleased with herself. She gave a stunning performance.

It gave us the perfect opportunity to launch the duo act we had been considering for some time. It also put Linda in the front line as vocalist and keyboard player. Roles she had only taken as 'backing' before.

Rus normally performs this track solo but in rehearsal Geoff joined in so Rus invited him up.

Later Rus was joined by Geoff from 'One Point Five' to perform 'Money For Nothing'.

All the backing tracks used were painstaickingly recorded by Linda and Rus in the weeks leading up to the gig.

Linda also played keyboards on a number of tracks to which Rus took on the vocals.

Of course, we were both nervous. It was a new venture but one we hope to repeat. Whether or not we'll keep the working title of Hugs Unlimited remains to be seen.

Linda glances at Rus and he smiles proudly back.
